In the year 2000, a young boy named Paul Mureithi, along with his three siblings Simon Karanja, Manasses Maina and Sammy Gatu , arrived at our home under difficult and uncertain circumstances. Brought in by a man who claimed to be their uncle, But later we came to know he was their father, the children were in need of care, support, and a place to call home. From that day forward, Paul became a part of our family, and his story of resilience and determination began to unfold.

Despite the early challenges and the absence of any follow-up or contact from his biological family, Paul displayed an admirable strength of character. He embraced his new environment with humility and focus, making the most of the opportunities provided to him.

Paul began his academic journey at Ngong Huruma Primary School, where he quickly stood out in his performance. After completing primary school, he transitioned to Ngong Huruma Secondary School, where he became one of the first students to enroll in our new school during that time. As a pioneer, he not only set the pace academically but also helped shape the culture and values of the school. His performance in secondary level were exemplary

His exceptional performance earned him a place at Mount Kenya University, where he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Science, specializing in Mathematics and Chemistry. This achievement was not only a personal milestone for Paul but also a proud moment for everyone who had been part of his journey.

Today, Paul Mureithi is the Principal of Ngong Huruma Schools and a dedicated family man. His journey from a vulnerable child to a respected leader is a testament to his resilience and the transformative power of love, support, and education..
