Andrew Kamau’s journey is a testament to resilience, discipline, and the power of education. After losing his mother, a long-serving social worker at Ngong Huruma Children’s Home, Andrew was admitted to Ngong Huruma Children’s Home. Despite the hardship, he remained focused and determined to succeed.
Andrew began his academic journey at Ngong Huruma Primary School, where his strong performance earned him a place at Ngong Huruma Secondary School. With continued hard work and perseverance, he excelled in his studies and secured admission at the Mount Kenya University.
At the university, Andrew pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Education Science, specializing in Mathematics and Physics, a challenging field that he tackled with the same dedication that has defined his life so far.
Today, Andrew stands as a shining example of how determination and support can transform lives. His story continues to inspire others at the Children’s Home and beyond.
