Johnny came to Huruma Children’s Home in 2007 at the tender age of 4. He had been abandoned in the cold streets of Nairobi, hungry, vulnerable, and without security. A kind hearted women found him and, moved by compassion, brought him to Huruma Children’s Home. Johnny began his education at Ngong Huruma Primary School, where he worked hard and consistently performed well. His academic journey continued at Ngong Huruma Secondary School, where he maintained his strong work ethic and became one of the top performers in his class by the end of the four years. His dedication and perseverance earned him a place at Kisii University in 2024, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, specializing in Mathematics and Biology.
