Phanice Mayuva
History: She joined the home in 2012 when she was in Form 2 (grade 10). She had dropped out of school due to the financial constraints in the family. Through our partners, she was able to complete her secondary education and also join college for her tertiary education.
Education: She came to Huruma when she was in Form 2 (grade 10) and completed her secondary learning at the Ngong Huruma secondary school under sponsorship by the Huruma Trust Fund. Afterwards, she enrolled at the Thika Technical College where she undertook a certificate in Mechanical Engineering, under sponsorship by the I am Huruma Foundation and she graduated in the year 2018.
At Present: Phanice is still furthering her education in diploma level (as at 2021).
