Faith Njoki

History: Faith and her sister used to live in Kibra (the biggest slum in Kenya). Their mother died and they were left orphans after their father left them. Their grandmother took the mandate of taking care of them. Her grandmother was old and things were getting hard on her. A social worker referred them to Huruma children’s home in 2001. Faith became very bitter for she couldn’t understand why their father had deserted them, but later came to accept her situation and moved on.
Education: She did her primary and secondary studies at the Ngong Huruma Primary and Secondary School. Later, she got admission at the Grand Canyon University, Arizona where she graduated in August 2020 with Bachelors in Forensic Science and Criminal Investigations.
Occupation: She is currently working in the USA.
